What's a Game Jam?
A game jam is a friendly competition where participants collaborate to create a game in 48h, given a theme.
Taking place in January 2024, the Dingo Game Jam is the first game jam for CEGEP students in Montreal. It is the perfect place to meet new friends, discover game development, and have fun!

How can I participate?To participate, you can click on the "Participate" button and fill out the Google form. You can also join our Discord (link here) to learn more about the week's events.

Where and when?The Cegep Game Jam will take place IN-PERSON at Vanier Cegep (821 Sainte Croix Ave, Saint-Laurent, Quebec H4L 3X9) on January 13 and 14. Prior to the Gamejam, we are offering design workshops of your choice ONLINE and during the evenings from January 9-12.

Who can participate?DINGO Game Design Week is open to game enthusiasts who want to learn more about game design. It's especially for beginners who don't have a lot of experience in making video games, board games and card games.

Is the event open to French and English speakers?This is a bilingual event. There will also be French and English speaking mentors. The workshops will also be bilingual.
